A client came in early one morning to order plant tags, and they needed the tags by day’s end. After some discussion, we made a plan regarding tag size and quantity. Our client set up their laptop at the front counter and composed the files for our printing process. We shifted our schedule for the day and jumped into action to get the job done.

We really are passionate about serving our clients, even when they need it ASAP. By 2PM there were twelve different plant tags for a total of 500 tags, ready for the little plant starts waiting in 4-inch pots.

The Greater Joy
Poetry by Dan Brewer

Dan’s book was printed on Mohawk Superfine, bound with Craft Cover and set in Jenson. The pages were hand-bound utilizing a wooden bookbinding punching cradle and then hand-stitched with Irish linen thread.
Artistic expression is one of our most precious legacies. With so many artists, poets and writers in our community, we are grateful to have a hand in sharing the product of their creative expressions.

Bug Press champions our unique art and history in Humboldt County, and to that end we are sharing an event from Humboldt Area Peoples Archive or HAPA.

HAPA/Counter-Signals Humboldt book launch: Presenting Counter-Signals #5, featuring “Really Green: A Speculatively Criminal and Green Ecology: Farming on the Spectrum of Idealism, Revolution and Greed,” a wild re-imagining of Humboldt through pages from its radical past.
Founded in 2016, HAPA’s mission is to collect and conserve documents related to activism and art for social justice, peace, and the environment for public use. Holmquist is cofounder of the Humboldt Area Peoples Archive, chief guardian of Humboldt’s counterculture histories.

In 2010, we had the privilege of working with Scott in the production of the Chronic Freedom Series.

This summer, Cannifest Humboldt 2025 is landing on Labor Day Weekend in Halvorsen Waterfront Park, Eureka. We take great pride in providing the Cannifest tribe with the best possible printing solutions for their custom graphics.
In addition to the poster to promote the event, we produced handbills reduced directly from the 11x17" poster file. Tickets with consecutive numbering were printed from our client’s design files. Easy peasy.
