Five questions worth asking about your company’s digital marketing

1. Do you know which channels are actually generating leads, not just traffic?
2. Does leadership share the same definition of what digital success looks like?
3. Is your website connected to your CRM in a way that tracks what happens after someone fills out a form?
4. Do you have a real content strategy, or just a posting schedule?
5. Do your digital efforts improve over time, or does it feel like you're starting over every year?

If you answered no to three or more, the issue probably is not effort. It is how everything is set up behind the scenes.

And the good news is, that is something we can help fix.

Trex is one of the most trusted names in outdoor living. When they came to Think It First to launch a new product line called Trex Spiral Stairs, the expectations were high.

Their ask sounded simple. Make it easy for homeowners to picture a big purchase before ever talking to a dealer.

We built a product launch site centered on an interactive visualizer. Visitors can choose height, diameter, materials, and finishes, and watch the staircase update in real time.

No guessing. No hoping it fits. They can see exactly what they are getting.

The result was more qualified leads, longer time on site, and a launch that helped buyers feel sure about what they were choosing.

When customers can see it clearly, they are much more confident taking the next step.

Thinking about a digital project but not quite ready to talk to an agency yet?

You don’t need a full scope, timeline, and budget to start a conversation with Think It First.

A lot of teams wait until everything is figured out before reaching out. Scope. Timeline. Funding.

But sometimes what you actually need first is clarity.

That’s why we offer short 15 to 30 minute intro calls.

A quick conversation to talk through what you're trying to fix, what feels unclear, or where things are stuck.

No long prep. No polished brief required.

If you're exploring options, a short call is a practical place to start.

A website redesign feels like the finish line.
Launch day. New look. Fresh UX.

But the real work starts after launch.

Without ongoing improvements, even the best redesign slowly drifts out of sync with how people actually use your site.

That's why we pair new builds with a growth flywheel. Small, steady updates that keep performance improving month after month.

Read the post and see why launch day should be the starting line, not the finish line.

A redesign is just the start. Pairing a new website build with a growth-sustaining system keeps your site improving long after launch.

Most B2B companies avoid “free.”

They worry it cheapens their brand.
Attracts the wrong audience.
Or gives away too much value.

But the right free experience doesn't dilute your offering. It proves it.

Freemium, done strategically, builds trust, shortens sales cycles, and qualifies better buyers before the first conversation.

Read the post and see if a freemium fits how your buyers actually make decisions.

Three manufacturers. Three different problems. Three outcomes worth paying attention to.

OLI Systems: Complex technical content built for multiple audiences, but not converting. We rebuilt the information architecture and integrated Salesforce and Pardot to create a platform that builds pipeline before sales gets involved.

Trex Spiral Stairs: A new product launch where customers had no way to visualize a high-consideration purchase. We built an interactive configurator that lets customers design in real time and drives stronger engagement and leads.

Savana Inc.: An enterprise fintech firm whose website didn’t reflect their institutional credibility. We redesigned the platform to meet bank-level security standards and support clear messaging across services.

Different industries. Same truth.

A website performs as well as the strategy behind it.

Most companies that make things like real products, industrial equipment, and precision components are under-represented online compared to how good they actually are at what they do.

The gap between what they build and how they present it digitally is one of the biggest missed opportunities we have seen.

The good news is that gap is starting to close. The companies moving now are going to be hard to catch.

Is this true in your industry, too?

Most marketing problems are not really marketing problems.

They are information problems.

Marketing teams are often expected to produce results without being told what is actually happening inside the business.

New products launch quietly. Customer objections stay in sales meetings. Operational challenges never leave leadership conversations.

Then everyone wonders why the messaging feels off.

Good marketing does not happen in isolation. It happens when marketing knows what customers are asking, what sales is hearing, and what leadership is planning next.

If your marketing team feels disconnected, the fix is usually simple. Tell them more. Invite them in. Share the messy details, not just the polished version.

We wrote this because the companies that share the most information almost always get better results.

You need to tell your marketing department everything.

Here's why.

Siloed marketing teams underperform. Share sales, ops & customer intel so your marketing department can align campaigns to real business goals.
