So today on my (j-o-b) I helped my manager develop the concept for, develop and deliver a pitch to our business unit members regarding intrapreneurship and how to create the illusion of being irreplaceable to our clients and how they could grow the business organically within our current client base. This is ONE of my areas of magnificence. If you read an excerpt from my Brand Story Challenge (many shout outs to my business marketing mentor Jennifer Kem), you would recall a time when my manager made life hard for me on the job, even when I was growing business organically…….. I won’t go into the details of that story BUT I revisit this story to say that sometimes when we it seems like someone is riding the he(double hockey sticks) out of us we often times make it about us. And YES 9 times out of 10 it is likely about us… but it is also likely about that person too. The way I handle people “messing” with me now is I stand up for myself… AND I stand in my power… BECAUSE I had to master this life’s lesson. And let me tell you, that student path was NO joke! (I learned about this through my hand analysis blueprint-if you are curious about it PM me)… I also practice forgiveness… Yup, I forgive. I forgive because I know that they really know not what they do because they are just actors in the story of my life….They have been written in my script…. Going back to my manager, once upon a time she was Angela’s Enemy #1…….. She irked every fiber of my being. But as I started exploring and learning more and more about me, I forgave everyone who had crossed me in some kind of way because they played a vital role in my life’s lesson and my spiritual growth. I still get challenged….. and I am not going to pretend that I don’t get pissed….. BUT now being on the master path of my life lesson vice the student path, I say my piece and then I make peace.
When I was first diagnosed with sarcoidosis, I searched all over to try to make sense of why I got this disease and why it decided it wanted to affect multiple organs in my body. So this is what's up. In the next 90 days, I'm moving full force in my business and health. I'm on a mission to help 10 people get really clear about what it is they want in two areas of their lives in my 3 month coaching/consulting program.
