Hand roll lovers, rejoice! Chef Carlos Delgado, the James Beard-winning Executive Chef of DC’s acclaimed MICHELIN-starred concept, Causa | Amazonia just opened Maru San in Capitol Hill! 🍣🐟

The 25-seat counter is DC’s first solely “Nikkei” restaurant, and takes inspiration from the “Sakura Maru” boat which brought the first Japanese immigrants to Peru in 1899.

Maru San has both a quick service offering for lunch (to come) + dinner, and a once-nightly 10+ course “Maru Experience” for only four guests (to come).
