Dear friend,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to encourage you and remind you that alcohol and family dysfunction can have devastating effects on your relationships, particularly your marriage.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 20:1 that "Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise." We should be vigilant about the impact that alcohol can have on our relationships and avoid becoming enslaved by it.
Renowned speaker Les Brown once said, "You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great." This statement applies to making changes in our lives, including overcoming alcohol addiction and healing family dysfunction. It takes courage to make the first step towards a better future, but it is worth it.
If you are struggling with addiction or family dysfunction, please know that there is hope. Seek out support from friends, family, or a professional who can help guide you towards healing and restoration.
Finally, let us remember the words of 1 Peter 5:10: "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." Trust in God's grace and his ability to restore you and your relationships.
Best regards,
Julius Irungu
