Marketing changes. Trust doesn’t.

New platforms, new algorithms, new AI tools, new tactics. The tools will keep changing, but people still need a reason to trust your business.

That is why your marketing cannot just be a collection of posts, ads, emails, and random ideas.

Build the system.

Create useful content. Show what you know. Stay consistent. Give people a reason to remember you when they are ready to buy.

AI is moving fast, but businesses still need to think before they use it.

Today’s OK7 News Brief covers 4 changes worth paying attention to:

AI and social media platforms are facing more rules around children and age verification.

Companies are putting limits on how employees use AI because confidential business and customer data can easily end up in the wrong system.

AI tools are becoming more specialized for specific industries and workflows, which could make them much more useful for businesses.

WordPress security is another reminder that old plugins cannot just sit there untouched for years.

And Google Business Profile is adding more visibility into how many people actually see your posts.

The common thread is simple: digital tools keep getting better, but using them well still requires human judgment.

Use AI. Use social media. Use WordPress. Use Google.

Just know what you’re putting into them, how they’re being managed, and what they’re actually doing for your business.

Most brands don’t have a content problem. They have a trust problem.

People see the posts, visit the website, read the reviews, and look at the work. They are trying to answer one question:

Can I trust this company?

Trust is built through consistency. Show your work. Share what you know. Answer real questions. Stay visible. Give people a reason to believe you know what you’re doing.

Your brand should make choosing you feel like the easy decision.

If your marketing isn’t building trust, it’s time to figure out why. Let’s talk.

Every major technology has been met with fear before it became normal. AI is no different.

The real question isn't whether AI exists. It's whether you're going to learn how to use it.

What do you think? Is AI helping businesses, hurting them, or both?

Friends.
Family.
Someone who watched a YouTube video once.

The problem is that bad advice during the first few weeks can cost you hours, days, or even months fixing things later.

I recently spent almost 5 hours helping a new client untangle accounts, settings, and social media issues that could've been avoided with a solid plan from the start.

I'm all for learning things yourself. In fact, I encourage it.

But before you start creating accounts, building your website, or launching your brand, make sure you're following current information. AI tools like ChatGPT are great, but always search using the current month and year. Things change fast.

A little planning now can save a lot of frustration later.

If you're launching a business or think your website, branding, or social media might not be set up correctly, start with our free Brand & Website Checklist. It walks you through the basics so you can catch problems before they become expensive.
