A few weeks ago, I had the honor of receiving the Future Builder Award at Crittenton Services of Greater Washington Poured with Purpose event.
As I look back on this moment, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible community that has supported my journey and the mission of Codeherrising . This recognition reminds me why we do this work—to create opportunities, empower women and girls, and help build a future where everyone has access to the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
I'm finally sharing my acceptance speech from that special day. I hope its message inspires others to keep believing in their vision, persevere through challenges, and continue building impact in their communities.
