Meet this year’s Outdoor NC guides! They are shown here at the recent Guide Summit at Raven Rock State Park. These outdoor enthusiasts collectively represent each region of the state and offer tremendous expertise in hiking, wellness, photography, boating, accessibility and more.

Over the next few months, we’ll introduce you to each of the guides and you’ll hear from them in their own words. The Guides are excited to provide tips and answer your questions as you plan your next North Carolina adventure!

Join us on November 15th at Wrong Way River Lodge in Asheville for a special benefit and silent auction for the WNC outdoor community. Six limited edition metal photo prints by Derek DiLuzio will be on display and available for bid, all of which were donated by Bay Photo Lab. In addition, we will have a limited supply of Borne from Blue Lines merchandise for sale.

This gathering is a celebration of the amazing place we live and our way of giving back to a community that has supported us for so many years. Come enjoy a drink, a hug, a laugh, and an opportunity to reconnect all for a great cause. 100% of the proceeds from Roaring Back will go to the Outdoor Business Alliance Helene Relief fund.

Our love of fly fishing unites us. It is borne to us from the headwaters of every stream we explore. The community this builds extends far and wide much like the river networks we fish. Borne from Blue Lines was created to celebrate this love and this community.

A special collaboration between and , will offer goods designed and printed in Western North Carolina whose proceeds will go to benefit members of our fly fishing community in WNC and TN who were affected by Hurricane Helene.

They will be available for purchase in person at the Forks of the River Fly Fishing Festival (details via link in bio), as well as online in the near future. 100% of the proceeds will go back to our community. More information coming soon.

As lovers of our Western North Carolina home first, and creatives who support the outdoor industry and community second, our hearts go out to the region. We are hard at work supporting efforts to recover. For the time being we will be limiting our posts to make space for critical communications concerning aid, support, and connections in WNC. We will be sharing more information on how all our followers can provide assistance to all our partners in the future. For now, stay safe, and love your neighbors.
