We’ve closely followed Oculus VR’s progress over the past 3.5 years. We were fortunate to partner with Oculus in 2012 to build their first website, when their prototype was still based on a modified pair of snowboard goggles. During that campaign, they were able to raise $2.5 million in 30 days on Kickstarter (a tech crowdfunding record), and later were acquired by Facebook for $2 billion. Since then, several past Angry Bear coworkers have joined the team.
Today, thanks to the hard work of countless individuals, their first consumer units are shipping!
