MADE in the 828

MADE in the 828 Travis Nevill had this vision to allow a place where you could search and find any local crafter in Welcome to Made in the 828.

Growing up Travis has always been around artistic family members. It all starts with is his Father taking pottery classes in the 70's. Travis spent many hours playing with the clay from spinning his own bowls to making creations, he won first place for his hobbit house at the NC State Fair in the 80's which he still has to this day. He was also great a making clay homes for the frogs at the goldfish pond, he dad built. Too many great memories to list so we'll continue those later...

Back to the creation of MADE in the 828. During College at WCU (GO Catamounts, Bleeds Purple), he worked on getting his degree in Management to hoping one day we would create is own business. Instead of getting a minor in Marketing, he decided to take Art Classes for he electives which he always pondered if this was such a smart move...
