As a creative you have to make for the sake of making. Sometimes there is a prompt or client that offers up inspiration. Sometimes it is the need to get something out of your head and into the world for others to experience.
This piece has been a combination of those variables. Prompted by a well know artist for a leg of their world tour, it ended up not being utilized. Years later during a time few of us saw coming, it has reappeared to be completed and brought to life under a new sign.
This is a piece about regeneration, rebirth, nature and the spirit of this planet we ride on. It was always about movement. Always rooted in change and vision. Interesting how this piece has come back during a time of personal and existential shifts.
There is a lot of change amongst us and while reality can blur into abstraction, i am reminded that in the middle of it all is spirit. Steady and true. A consciousness that has lived through much long before us and one that will continue long after. I’m just happy to be aware and along for the ride.
