A gorgeous shoot from the 2025 archives with Melissa Furr of Defined Media, and photographed in my home studio. She wanted imagery that captured her personality in an elevated way, and I’m loving of what we created together. Also her hair flip moment needs it’s own shoutout and belongs in shampoo campaign! 💇‍♀️

As Yoga Center of Black Mountain is getting ready to open their doors for their grand opening, they knew their brand needed visuals that captured the heart of their studio. That’s where brand photography comes in; it builds credibility, sets the tone, and instantly communicates the vibe of your space.

For this shoot, I collaborated with their team to shape the creative direction and design a shot list that truly reflected their vision. Together, we brought their core values, presence, connection, and community. The final gallery gave them a complete photo library that feels authentic, welcoming, and completely on-brand (and the best part is: no stock photos needed!) — and showcases a wide range of shots they can use across multiple marketing touchpoints and feature their various offerings.

Photo Diaries, Entry 1

Took myself on a photo date through the South Slope today.
 I’m here often for work, but today I was able to slow down with my camera, admiring the murals across old buildings, the energy around new businesses moving in and the history layered within.

South Slope has this way of reminding me that creativity isn’t just something we make—it’s something we walk through, breathe in, and fall a little in love with every time.

Excited to make this more of a regular thing and to share more about my beloved city and home, Asheville.
