Our first State Fair stop of the year took us back to Ohio for the first time in several years and the girls first time— and the FP Livestock crew had a great day! It was good to be back and even better to kick off our state fair tour with a big win and a strong set of placings!

🏆 RESERVE GRAND OVERALL MASTER SHOWMAN
2026 Illinois State Fair

What an incredible way for Alivia to finish her final year of 4-H! ❤️🍀

Last night, Alivia competed in the Illinois State Fair Master Showmanship Contest, representing Iroquois County and competing against 66 other contestants representing counties from across the state of Illinois.

To say we are proud is an understatement, and an accomplishment like this certainly doesn’t happen alone.

We are incredibly thankful for the village that helped Alivia get here. To everyone who took the time to teach her, answer her questions, offer advice and help her become a better livestock showman — thank you.

To those who opened their barns to her, handed her the halter or show stick, trusted her with your animals thank you. Every animal she was allowed to show, every pointer given ringside, every practice session and every person who took a few extra minutes to teach her helped prepare her for this moment. ❤️

For a girl who has spent countless hours in the barn, traveled thousands of miles showing livestock and has grown up with a passion for showmanship this one is pretty special.

Congratulations, Alivia! Mom couldn’t be more proud of you.🥰

What better way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday than spending part of our summer at the All American Junior Show! 🇺🇸🐑

Summer has flown by, and it's hard to believe State Fair season is already right around the corner! Before we turn our attention to the next stop, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible summer show season.

We are beyond grateful for everyone who chose to campaign FP Livestock genetics this year. Watching these sheep compete across the Midwest and seeing exhibitors achieve their goals has been the most rewarding part of the season.

Congratulations to all of our customers on an outstanding run in the show ring! Your dedication, countless hours of hard work, and commitment to your livestock continue to make us proud.
