Well, actually… I’ve been in business for 2,718 days.(That’s seven years, give or take.)

But it’s really only been over this last year that I’ve been able to collaborate with some of the most amazing small business owners, the best videographer, shout out to Loren Edward Wheeler , and a powerful, supportive, creative team to build out this new version of Simply Healthy Marketing.

A version that is rooted in funneling money back into the local economy by supporting small businesses, telling their stories, and helping them show up consistently through full-service digital marketing, social media strategy/management, and long + short-form video content.

I’ve always had dreams of building an agency, but there is something so surreal about watching it actually come together in real time.

We’ve been working with some of the most inspirational business owners, and some days I genuinely wake up surprised that this is my life.

Mostly, I’m just really grateful.

This iconic Rogue Valley donut shop has been serving the community for 50 years, and recently the family legacy was passed down to Vilay and her husband Nicholas. Alongside her brother and cousins, they continue keeping the shop family-run while bringing creativity, culture, and heart into every flavor they make.

From matcha to ube and so many more still to come, every visit feels like exploring a new piece of cultural heritage. Vilay’s taking it deeper than donuts, down to the roots.

During the month of May for AAPI Heritage Month, stop in and try the Nahm Vahn donut or grab any of your favorite donuts. Purchases and tips this month are helping support the Legacies of War Organization.

So so many beautiful people and amazing businesses at El Mercadito fundraiser for the Mariposa family Fund at Pheonix Highschool hosted by today.

It was the perfect taste of authentic cultural food, young high school, business owners and local business owners alike, and they even had a talent show✨Love to see it!

Also loved being able to try the AMAZING Tlacoyos, a special recipe from Becky of that she was cooking with our dear friend Krista of and 💚

Word on the street is that there will be an after party at La Fuente so if you’re seeing this in real time pull up and support local business! 💪🏾

You can absolutely choose to play the virality game, but in my opinion, it’s way more valuable to build a small mighty community of loyal supporters.

Those ride or dies who will show up for you today just like they did a year ago and just like they will a year from now. 💪🏾

Real honest relationship based marketing and story based content is the shift we’re making in the marketing industry parentheses ( the OG crew will know that I’ve been onto this one for a while now.)

And not to manipulate anyone into buying because you, but because you deserve to feel a real connection to the people and places you’re supporting with your dollar.

As simply healthy marketing, we kind of just get that 🤷🏾‍♀️

In case you haven’t heard yet… Simply Healthy Marketing is hosting VIP Content Day shoots with some of the most amazing small businesses in the Rogue Valley. And today, I want to give a loving shout-out to ✨

This groovy, vegan candle company was created by Mikell, a true ‘70s wild child with a nose for nostalgia and a heart of pure gold. 🕯️💛

She was looking for support in staying consistent on social media and creating high-quality content that actually reflects the soul of her brand… and that’s where we stepped in.

We had so much fun at Mikell’s shoot. There was laughter, creativity, and so many beautiful moments captured. In partnership with the amazing videographer, Loren Wheeler of .media , we were able to direct and film a shoot that brought the essence of Everlong Candle Co. to life by blending products with personality and storytelling that feels as warm as the candles themselves.
