It’s National Stationery Week! In the midst of planning my next newsletter I’ve been taking photos of some of the fun correspondence I’ve received over the years. This cute note and photo was included in a packet of letters from my friend Junko and her classmates. I stayed with her and her family in Japan for a bit. Who are you mailing this week? I’ll tell you, reading back through some of my mail has been so fun!

I took a field trip this morning to visit one of my amazing retailers here in the ATL, 🤩 Betsy has the cutest shop! I grabbed some dinner items (mac n cheese and meatloaf) to go along with some sweets (cookies, banana pudding, and coconut cake 🤤). I’m definitely planning a trip back this summer with the kiddos!

Spring running has begun! Look at all this green poppin y’all! I hope you get to enjoy some sunshine wherever you are today. We have baseball and lacrosse on our agenda and I plan on enjoying my time outdoors minus all the layers. Also, this song is just super catchy. It randomly popped up yesterday and even though it has nothing to do with this photo, I thought I would share it.

No lumps or bumps! All good! It has almost been six years since my double mastectomy, three since my recurrence, and this morning my breast surgeon oncologist gave me the all clear - see you next year. Keep doing those monthly self checks ladies. Schedule your mammogram. Be your own advocate for the best care you deserve and never be afraid of the what if’s. You are so much stronger than you know.

Today marks the start of the final season of Outlander. I’ve been with this show since the beginning and it has given me hours of entertainment, cliff hangers, and the perfect embodiment of Jamie Fraser! Outlander inspired products are among some of the first things I designed when moving from strictly weddings to greeting cards and gifts. They have been shipped all over the globe and given shout outs in some high profile places (see last slides.) Thank you and and the rest of the cast and crew for all your hard work. I can’t wait!

What happens, when two former classmates, have dinner in the city, after not seeing one another in probably a decade? A 5 hour dinner. That’s what. HHS class of 1996 rules! - so good catching up! Like no time passed at all. 😘

I put on my big girl panties and made my first real loaf of sourdough! 🤗 I feel like failures are definitely coming as sourdough can be tricky but this tastes amazing, my kids like it, and baking relieves stress — which I have plenty of leading up to Noted at NY Now.
