Two posts in one day?! Who are we?!

Let's chat real quick!

Today is the day we honor the life and activism of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. As I take a look at this photo, I can't help but admire the impact he had on the Civil Rights Movement and the world as a whole. I, also, can't help but salute those on his team who helped him with his interviews and press.

I mean...these people were public relations professionals BEFORE the title became a thing. Reverend King's speeches, news interviews, and photos gained and notoriety. So, salute to those who worked tirelessly on creating a for Dr. King before the "official" titles came into being. We are forever grateful for the sacrifices and intentional effort of Dr. King and his team.

Us when we realize a discussion post, media release, two work assignments, and the grocery list are all due by midnight. Wheww chileeee are we sure it's only Wednesday? When we said we'd be ready for whatever, we didn't realize it had so many layers lol. ⁠

Being in Entertainment PR is always a daunting task, but when situations beyond you & your client's control occur the the stress becomes 10x more stressful. By now we've all heard of the tragic events that occured at Houston rapper, Travis Scott's, Astroworld Festival this past weekend.

Many brands that were collaborating with Scott are beginning to rethink their decision, including . This is a tragic situation all the way around, we hope a resolution comes about soon.
