🧵✨ Understanding Stitch Count & Pricing ✨🧵
Ever wonder how embroidery pricing works? Let’s break it down so you know exactly what you’re paying for 💖
📌 What is Stitch Count?
Stitch count is the total number of stitches it takes to complete your design. Every detail, line, and fill adds to that number!
🎯 Why does it matter?
The more stitches your design has, the more time, thread, and machine work is required—so pricing is based on stitch count to keep things fair and accurate.
💰 My Pricing Formula:
$1.50 per 1,000 stitches
🧶 Example:
• 5,000 stitches = $7.50
• 10,000 stitches = $15.00
• 20,000 stitches = $30.00
✨ What affects stitch count?
• Design size
• Level of detail
• Type of lettering or fill
🪡 Good to know:
Simple designs = lower stitch count (more affordable)
Detailed designs = higher stitch count (more time + cost)
I’m always happy to give you an estimate before we get started so there are no surprises 🙌
