At just 16, Abram Hausmann is proving that consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t show up. A Northgate junior who only started running seriously in 2023, Abram just broke the 20-minute 5K barrier—after nearly two years of showing up, putting in the work, and trusting the process.
Inspired by a neighbor-turned-mentor and fueled by Arbor Springs’ scenic streets, he’s now aiming for the 17s 👀
His advice? Stay consistent. Don’t compare. Keep going.
Because sometimes, the long way around… is the one that gets you there. 💪

It’s me—Denver 🐾 12 years young and still running the neighborhood like I own it.
Rescued by Libby (who wisely ignored her parents), named after the Broncos because of her Peyton Manning obsession—humans are weird, but I roll with it. I’m here for one thing: attention. Pets, belly rubs, ear scratches? Don’t be shy.
My little brother Bolton (aka the “Covid baby”) is 6, fluffy, lovable, and… not exactly the brains of the operation. But he’s got heart—and somehow mastered stairs I refuse to trust. Show-off.
I keep Spencer on his toes, escape when I feel like it, and definitely don’t follow directions. But at the end of the day? This crew is mine. Chaos, snuggles, loyalty—we’ve got it all. 🐾
