When I started my business, I HATED marketing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been slowly diving into the world of business ownership for the past 6 years.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But marketing always held me back.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been following and learning from some of the best accounts and marketing. Experts for over half a decade.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While I’ve understood the purpose of marketing your business, I’ve only found a handful of people who are doing it right.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who are doing it in a way that CONTRIBUTES to a better world.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Marketing can be extremely manipulative.
Marketing can convince people to waste their money, pollute the world, and disregard the emotional and physical safety of others.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏻Knowing how to market your business is an extremely powerful tool to yield.

So as I entered into this world of marketing, I’ve had to test and refine HOW to do it.

What’s my most defining characteristic?

For better or for worse,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨I just go for it.✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I get a feeling of “I want this” or “this no longer works for me” and I make the change.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I make the business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I pivot the business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I take days (sometimes hours) to make a decision, not months or years.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I allow myself to move with my feelings and instincts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And for many years I thought this was a bad thing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everyone around me was “taking their time” or making the “more responsible” choices.

But more recently, I realize that my ability to take action is an asset.

And I’ve realized that I’m actually pretty bomb at motivating others to take action too.

So I’m embracing my imperfect plans and messy actions that move me closer to my dream life because I now know,
