One of my clients asked me one of the funniest questions ever
“Joy, do you mean I could be chilling on a vacation and my social media will be running and I will be getting appointments because I am working with you?”
And the obvious answer which I told her is YES
As surprising and funny as it seems
Many business owners and entrepreneurs do not know the benefits of delegating tasks
I have worked with people who would rather DO IT THEMSELVES than get professional help
It took some mindset shift and allowing them test to the waters before running to me to help them handle their social media content effectively
But don’t get me wrong, there are many factors that cause this belief
For you, it could be that
>> You are just starting your business and don’t know how overwhelming researching, strategizing, planning, creating, and finally posting content is
>> You just have the ego and mindset of not accepting help and support, and always doing things yourself
>> You have been burnt in the past, where you pay someone to handle your online presence, but the person ended up spoiling it making them restart and do it yourself
>> Some people, are afraid of how much it costs and don’t even want to start looking for someone
All these reasons are valid but will stop you from growing the successful business you envision online
And trying to do it all by yourself will cost you
>> Burnout
>> Not focusing on the main business which is talking to clients or building your customer base
>> Overwhelmed
>>Frustrated because you are putting in the work but you are getting little to NO results because you really don’t know what you are doing

The best to tackle this is to TRY
Try giving someone else a chance, try hiring a social media manager for a few months and see how it works out, or try letting someone support you in your social media journey.
