Come spend Week 1 of Campaign Season with me! 😍🐝

This week was all about preparing custom orders I designed, filming events and content for clients, and creating campaign materials. It was such a good feeling seeing my work all around campus and connecting with new people along the way.✅🐝

Women’s Empowerment Week at ASU was one for the books 🤍

From early bio labs and lectures to late nights at practice, I showed up in every space I’m called to. I had the opportunity to speak on a mental health panel, pour into others through community service (multiple times this week!), and be part of powerful events like “Give Her Flowers,” the Women’s Day Brunch, and the plate-smashing release event.

Alongside that, I was behind the scenes capturing content and supporting the , helping bring these moments to life while also staying locked in as a Communications major and student.

Between cheer, study halls, podcast features, Bible study with my girls, and continuing to build my campaign… this week reminded me what it looks like to move with purpose, balance, and intention.

Before we had full representation in national government, Black students were already learning how to lead it.

This Black History Month, Alabama State University’s Student Government Association reflects on the legacy that built us. From the founding of HBCUs during segregation to the courage of the Marion Nine, our history reminds us that leadership here was never random — it was necessary.

We stand on a legacy that was fought for.
And it’s our responsibility to protect it, strengthen it, and use it to make a greater impact on our campus.
