Upper Westside Murals

We were honored that Learning in Color trusted us one more time with this exciting project, continuing a collaboration where we have created murals in several schools that celebrate creativity, community, and opportunity. With the support of amazing volunteers from Cox, this mural became a true team effort filled with energy and purpose.
One of the most fun parts of the process was meeting with students to gather their ideas. They helped shape the direction of the design, making them part of the creative journey from the very beginning. Their imagination inspired elements connected to sports, arts, music, and innovation, ensuring the mural reflects what makes their school unique.
A special highlight is the YMCA door, which the school shares for the gym. Instead of standing out, it is now cleverly camouflaged within the mural as a rocket, representing the STEAM program and symbolizing curiosity, exploration, and big dreams taking off. The design also honors Davis and Cousins, two individuals who played important roles in building and strengthening the East Lake community.
The most rewarding part has been the daily compliments from the kids, who walk by wide-eyed and full of excitement. Seeing them feel inspired and proud of a space they helped imagine reminds us why we love doing what we do. Moments like these truly bring learning to life in color. 🎨🚀

We created a few years back at Midtown Union, drawn with thin ropes to shape every line. No patterns, no shortcuts, just reading the wall and letting intuition guide us. It took a little over a month to finish, tucked away where only the curious can find it.

Some of the murals we created at the Parkside on Dresden parking deck — where Solis Dresden Village and Savi Provisions are located.
These designs were also developed in-house, bringing fresh energy and color to the space while playing with the existing bare concrete and the location’s signature tones.
The goal was to make the environment feel fresh, fruity, and fun — transforming everyday parking into a visual experience.

We’re now entering Phase 2 — More fun to come! 🎨

🎨✨ Throwback to a project I did for Microsoft in Atlanta about four years ago.
The designs were created by Art & Associates, with whom I had the pleasure of partnering on several projects.
I never had video footage from back then — until now! Finally got a chance to capture and share it after all this time.
This was one of those projects that remind you why you love what you do —challenging, super fun, and full of creativity. The kind that truly inspires you to keep painting, designing, and dreaming bigger!

October 1st marks the creation of Jimmy Carter Day — a date officially established by Gwinnett County — and we had the incredible honor of painting this mural to celebrate it.

We were selected through a mural contest, which made this project even more special for our team. It was an intense and rewarding experience: we had a very short time to complete it before the event, under strong sunlight and on one of the roughest walls we’ve ever worked on. We even had to prime most of it by hand!

Thankfully, the amazing staff at Best Friend Park, where the mural is located, helped us every step of the way — giving us access to water, restrooms, and endless support. Their kindness truly made a difference.

This project will always remind us that art, community, and teamwork can turn even the toughest walls into something meaningful. 💪✨

We’re so happy with how this mural turned out in Hickory Flat! 🌽 🐎 🇺🇸 🐄 🎨 ✨ One of the things I love the most about painting in small towns is how welcoming everyone is—people stop by, chat with us, share stories, and make the process feel so special. It means a lot to see the community embrace the work and for it to bring a little extra life and color to the town.
