A Prayer for a Renewed Mind
Heavenly Father,
I come before You asking You to renew my mind and transform my heart. Help me understand that what I allow into my thoughts will shape the person I become.
Lord, keep me from being conformed to the ways of this world. When my thoughts become negative, fearful, angry, or discouraged, help me recognize them and bring them under Your truth.
Teach me to set my mind on things above. Help me look beyond temporary circumstances and keep my eyes on You. When life gets difficult, remind me that my situation does not have the final word—You do.
Father, I want to spend less time focusing on what is around me and more time focusing on who You are. Let Your Word, Your love, Your wisdom, and Your presence become what I continually gaze upon.
Transform me from the inside out. Make me more patient, more loving, more forgiving, more humble, and more obedient to You. Let the way I think change the way I live.
Lord, as I keep my eyes on You, shape me into the image of Christ. Give me a renewed mind, a teachable heart, and a spirit that wants to follow You every day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

According to the Bible, God does want glory, but not in a selfish human way. God’s glory means His goodness, power, holiness, love, and truth being recognized and honored.
God wants us to:
Glorify Him — through how we live, love, speak, and treat others.
Know Him personally — not just know about Him.
Trust Him — even during difficult times.
Love others — because love reflects His character.
Grow spiritually — becoming more patient, faithful, humble, and loving.
Receive salvation and peace — God’s desire is not to destroy people, but to bring them closer to Him.
The Bible says:
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
And also:
“The heavens declare the glory of God.” — Psalm 19:1
