I'm incredibly honored that the amazing Sarah Schwartz featured our stationery subscription in THE place for paper lovers everywhere, The Paper Nerd. And if it couldn't get any better, she featured a photo of her sweet daughter's baby announcement, framed. :) I printed that for her 14 years ago, and it's still one of my all-time favorites. Can you tell my heart is exploding here? In the best possible way. Truly grateful.

Subscription boxes are nothing new of course, but then again, neither is letterpress! If you're old school Bumblebee Press, you know we started as a botanical press in the early nineties. I never ever tire of this stuff. It's so beautiful. Seriously, you can't improve on nature. This one, a velvety rose petal pressed on a Zerkall mould-made folding note, with a mould made envelope. One of these went into each of our January boxes.⁠⁠⁠⁠

Years ago, my friend Cloud was helping me pack up a stack of pressed botanicals on paper that we were shipping out. I'm not gifted with wrapping. Anything. (I'm happy if my fitted sheets even slightly, and I mean slightly, resemble flat balls.) The details are a little fuzzy, but somewhere in that exchange, she introduced me to the Japanese art of wrapping, Furoshiki. And finally looked me in the eye and said, "Look. You can do it like this: it's how they wrap up things at the deli."⁠

So I can do that. I've done it ever since. And I love the way it looks. I especially love this tissue; it's acid-free and delicate. It'll keep your silver from tarnishing and keep your favorite letters in good shape for years.⁠⁠⁠

A One good thing booklet with a woodgrain cover, an IOU enclosure card on cotton, a hand pressed rose petal card on Zerkall mould made folding note with a matching mould made envelope, a tiny heart correspondence card, letterpress printed with had rounded corners, and a letterpress peace love card on cotton. With a cotton letterpress letter sheet inside for those times when you need to write a little more. I have a few of those letters to write.⁠

One good thing. A friend told me about this and then I saw the idea going around the internet some. So I made a little booklet. Tear off a sheet, write one good thing once a week. When it's done, you'll have a year of goodness to remember. You can use any paper - anything. This one's made from a felt finish paper, covered with an imported wood grain paper from Gmund. ⁠

One of my favorite mills. Family-owned since 1904. They make their paper on two machines: one dates from 1883, the other from 1930. I love the quality of their papers. But my favorite thing about this company is its commitment to environmentally sustainable practices. Good stuff. ⁠
