——————————-
With heavy hearts, we join the community in mourning the passing of Bridgett Renee Lynch, a woman whose compassion, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched so many across Augusta.
You were just in the Commission Chamber —advocating, sharing your passion, and continuing your mission to help others. Through your work, you made our community better.
As the founder of the Fatty Marsha Foundation, Bridgett dedicated her life to supporting women and children impacted by HIV/AIDS through education, awareness, prevention, and care. From her annual Christmas Gala and wine events to toy drives and community outreach, she created spaces of hope, support, and connection for so many families.
She lived life fully—always on the move, embracing new experiences, and uplifting others with her warmth and energy. More than anything, she showed up for people with love, kindness, and purpose.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched and the community she cared for so deeply.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all who loved her during this difficult time
