We’ve been lucky enough to work with Katharine over the past 6 or 7 years across 2 books and 4 brand identities (including ). She brings beauty, wisdom, and hope to everything she touches, relentlessly urging us to take heart as we press onward. Inspired by the opening line of her forthcoming book (which we also got to design!), this new Substack– “Human on Earth” – is yet another generous offering.
In the dreamiest collab, Ampersand partnered with to bring this gorgeous letter to life. For the identity design, we took our cues from Mother Earth with textures, colors, and hand drawn symbols imbued with gentle strength.
