YouTube Hype, simply explained (and how businesses can use it)

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲?

YouTube Hype is a fan-powered boost for new videos. Viewers can “Hype” up to three videos a week to help them get more visibility. Videos with the most Hypes appear on a country-specific leaderboard in Explore, making them easier for new audiences to discover.

𝗪𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗱?

✅From creators in the YouTube Partner Program with 500–500,000 subscribers
✅Long-form videos (not Shorts)
✅Uploaded within the last 7 days
✅In countries where Hype is available (currently 39, including the UK and US)

Viewers in supported countries can Hype up to three times per week, with the allowance refreshing each Monday.
