Is your mind constantly spinning with a million ideas and things you need to get done on your to-do list to help you level up?⁣

If you're an entrepreneur the answer most definitely is YASSSS that's!🙋🏼‍♀️ So I'm going to share a little hack with you on how I keep everything organized and don't let those ideas/content slip away!⁣

Download Google Keep on your phone RIGHT NOW! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼⁣

Google Keep allows you to make notes through voice dictation.. because it's a pain in the ass to type out your long thought process, right?!⁣
⁣
The other night I was in bed reading an article and I all of the sudden had so many content ideas.
SO... I pulled out my phone, opened google keep, created notes (through voice dictation), and came up with a blog post idea, 2 Instagram posts, an Instagram story idea, and a FB group prompt all in less than 10 minutes.⁣
⁣
It was that easy!⁣
⁣
So get on the app, create some labels, set up reminders for content, and never forget an idea or thought process again!⁣

Last week we talked about how to use brain dumping to help you be more organized in your business! This week we're going to talk about time batching and the Pomodoro method!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
As an entrepreneur, you know that time is an enemy! We always have a long to-do list, goals we want to get to, but we never have enough time in the day! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The Pomodoro Technique teaches you to work with time, instead of struggling against it. It's a time management technique that I PROMISE will make a huge difference in your life! swears by it too!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So how does it work:⁣⁣
👉🏻Choose a task you'd like to get done! You need to prioritize tasks based on importance and then schedule adequate time for them on a personal calendar. ⁣⁣
👉🏻Set the Pomodoro for 25!⁣⁣
👉🏻Work on the task until the timer goes off!⁣⁣
👉🏻When the timer goes off, stop what you're doing. Then...⁣⁣
👉🏻 Take a short break for 5 minutes! Breathe, meditate, grab a cup of coffee, go for a short walk or do something else relaxing (i.e., not work-related). Your brain will thank you later.⁣⁣
👉🏻After you've completed 4 pomodoros, take a longer break for 20 minutes!⁣⁣

Time batching has helped me tremendously in my business when switching roles from coaching to graphic design.

This year I've been working so hard on self-care and
BRAIN DUMPING.. wake up do your morning routine, grab a coffee (or for me a tea) sit down with your cute notebook, and write out three pages.

Write about all the things!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏼I write about what I'm happy with...
👉🏼What I'm stressing out about...
👉🏼What I want to accomplish in both my personal life and my business...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Really just anything that comes to mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then I go through, look over everything, and highlight everything based on topics from work, to marriage, personal development, etc. and then break down how to tackle each issue.

🖤It's really helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses! 🖤It helps me see where I need work!
🖤Where I can outsource in my business!

Every day I wake up and write out my to-do list for the day. Then I go through the list and pick out my top 2 NON-NEGOTIABLES for the day! 💪🏼⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These are the things that you have to get done for the day to set you up for success. They don't even have to be the biggest projects on your list. They just need to be the ones that matter the most.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Back with Part 2 of what you can expect for the future!

A few months back, after the restaurant closed down, I started quietly coming up with a new game plan of what I wanted to offer. Before I left, I was coaching and offering SMM for coaches and entrepreneurs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I no longer had a desire to run social media. I did a huge coaching intensive on myself and dug deep and realized what brought me passion the most was design work and coaching customers on content creation and passive income!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I decided to increase my marketing and income and learn all things Etsy and Creative Market, and I add a few designs to my template shop! I got that up and running and slowly while I worked on my new website! If you haven't seen it yet, please go look at it! I am so in love!

The game plan was to slowly start showing up in FB groups... where I landed two coaching clients with ease! Luck would have it that I also got a text from a past client who I did SMM for, and she was ready to automate her business and start her own passive income. So there you have it! I was back in action, growing my passive income. Landing coaching clients and taking things one day at a time!

Hi 👋! I'm back! You were probably wondering where the hell I've been.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I mean, I basically fell off the face of the earth, my last post was June of 2019, and even that had been run by my assistant for two months!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I got sick, and when I say I got sick, I mean, I got really sick, and I ended up in the hospital. Life was a mess; I was super stressed out and overwhelmed. I had a lot going on personally, and I just needed some time to myself.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But life just kept happening, and we got a call from Eddie's parents that his father's health was drastically deteriorating, and they really needed us to help. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He was in kidney faulier, an open-heart surgery was scheduled, and one of his legs was also going to have to be amputated. My mother in law couldn't take care of him and run their business on her own. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So once I got better, instead of heading back to my job, I planned and packed for a cross country move, and for over a year, I have been helping run their restaurant business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then COVID happened! 🙄 🤦🏼‍♀️ The restaurant got closed down, and we all sat around waiting to see what happened. But we came to realize my father-in-law would never be the same after all the surgeries this past year, and he would not be going back to the restaurant as a chef. It was time to close up the business after 46 years!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which meant I had more time on my hands, and I could start focusing on my goals again. I'll be back on Wednesday to catch you up on what I've been working on and what you can expect in the future! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
