With the upcoming WERA Motorcycle Roadracing this weekend, I'm trying to get reaquanted with Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and the extremely technical nature of this track.

My best time there was on a ZX6R a few years ago with a 1:39.5, however on the I've only every managed a 1:40.5, so there's lots of improvement that needs to happen for sure! 2 years away from racing isn't helping and with basically zero track time since Cycle Jam 2024, I'll be happy with simply MATCHING my previous best.

In preparation, I'm studying Youtuber rider: (aka Rohan Sid, a friend of mine). Here Rohan is racing in a 600cc class but definitely gives some pointers on track position, race craft and generally helpful information! Hope it helps someone else too!

Visordown If track riders don't fully trust ABS, I'm in serious doubt they will trust electronic witchcraft! Also, isn't MotoGP going backwards to the cable throttle? At least a cable to servo motor...not a full E-throttle for some riders is the word on the street.

I wonder how much these things work? Like by what reduction %? I guess it depends on peak temps, cause the higher those are the more a small % improvement matters! Yamaha Racing
