Honored to have presented the SPARKS Brand Method™️ at CEEC 2025, hosted by San Diego State University and the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center.

Sharing this six-phase framework, designed to help businesses achieve clarity, consistency, and confidence in their branding, was a privilege. The positive feedback from peers and fellow educators reinforces the impact of integrating brand strategy into entrepreneurship education.

Leading sessions on "A Model for Applied Entrepreneurship Education: Bridging Theory and Practice" and "Moving Beyond Business Plans: Integrating Brand Strategy Frameworks in Entrepreneurship Education" sparked meaningful discussions on reshaping how we teach and apply brand strategy.

Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the future of entrepreneurship education and to collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Congratulations to Team WellPaws for their incredible success at the FBLA National Competition 2025 Entrepreneurship Pitch in Dallas, TX (May 30–June 3, 2025)!

I am beyond proud to have served as their mentor and advisor, guiding them from placing at State all the way to representing Georgia at Nationals. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication truly inspire me, and it’s been an honor to support their journey. Go WellPaws!

🌟 Introducing the SPARKS Brand Method™️ at CEEC 2025! 🌟

I’m honored to be presenting at the California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference (CEEC) 2025, hosted by San Diego State University (SDSU) and the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center! During the conference, I’ll be introducing the SPARKS Brand Method™️, a six-phase strategic framework designed to help businesses create strong, scalable brands. It’s all about Clarity, Consistency, and Confidence—helping businesses define who they are, what they do, and why it matters, positioning them as the go-to experts in their industry.

I’ll be leading two sessions:

📅 A Model for Applied Entrepreneurship Education: Bridging Theory and Practice
📅 Moving Beyond Business Plans: Integrating Brand Strategy Frameworks in Entrepreneurship Education

It’s going to be an incredible opportunity to explore how brand strategy frameworks can reshape entrepreneurship education and empower businesses. I’m excited to connect with fellow educators, entrepreneurs, and brand strategists at CEEC 2025!

🚀 Join me for these engaging sessions and let’s shape the future of entrepreneurship education together!

What an amazing experience at the 5th MSI Aspiring Leaders Forum hosted by Rutgers University! ✨

A huge thank you to Marybeth Gasman for inviting me as her special guest. Being in the room with so many visionary leaders and future changemakers was truly invaluable. The conversations, mentorship, and insights shared over the two-day forum were empowering and motivating.

We delved into critical topics, from navigating crises and negotiating salary packages to understanding the dynamics of managing board relations—all of which are essential for future MSI leaders. I was particularly inspired by Alvin Schexnider’s keynote, where he spoke passionately about the role of leadership in today’s higher education landscape.

This forum not only reinforced the significance of MSIs but also deepened my appreciation for the innovative strategies being developed to drive student success and institutional transformation.

Feeling incredibly grateful for this opportunity to learn and grow alongside such an inspiring group of individuals.

Leader College ’25 at the Georgia State Capitol

Honored to represent Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) as part of Leader College ’25!
Our cohort had an inspiring visit to the Georgia State Capitol, where we engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of technical education in Georgia.

During our time at the Capitol, we:
✔️ Sat in the Senate Chamber and explored Georgia’s legislative process
✔️ Met with Representative Reese (Muscogee County), Senator Harrell, and Representative Fleming to discuss:
• The impact of Georgia’s Technical Education System
• The ongoing nursing shortage
• Food insecurity across the state
✔️ Participated in an insightful Litigation & Compliance session with Dr. Joshua McKoon, General Counsel for the Technical College System of Georgia, where we explored the legal aspects of higher education leadership.

This experience reinforced the importance of advocacy, policy, and leadership in technical education. I’m excited for what’s ahead with Leader College ’25 and to continue growing alongside my colleagues at GPTC!
