As much as we love digital its easy to hit the wall. There's constant stimulation from infinite scrolls, video meetings, and too many tabs. This we're highlighting a few innovators who've made a digital impact on our world.
Timnit Gebru & Rediet Abebe are both computer scientists and advocates working to make inclusive digital experiences. As co-founders of Black in AI, they've created a safe space for Black researchers to connect, collaborate, and work on representation initiatives. Both women have a passion for helping underrepresented and underserved groups around the world. They're efforts in alleviating bias in this fast growing, wide-spread technology have a huge impact in making AI systems enjoyable, accessible, and equitable for everyone.

This we're highlighting a few innovators who've made a digital impact on our world.
Roy Clay Sr. — also known as the "Godfather of Silicon Valley" — is a computer science expert. His contributions as the first Director for the HP Research and Development Computer Group (and later as the founder of ROD-L Electronic) has shaped the way we approach and use computers today. Roy's lasting impact in computer science has paved the way for Black innovators entering the technology industry today.

This we're highlighting a few innovators who've made a digital impact on our world.
Marie Van Brittan Brown was an inventor. In the 1960s she created the 1st home security system and closed circuit television. Marie's use of a camera and microphone to see and communicate with people outside her front door paved the way for our modern security systems today. Her invention is an inspiration for how technology can positively impact all aspects of our lives.
