Short, sweet and to the point!

We worked alongside our friends at BBDO Atlanta to create this visually engaging, 3-D animation for the Georgia Lottery.

The team developed a series of different styleframes for the client to choose from, each varying in color and theme.

In addition to tackling multiple topics related to energy efficiency, we wanted to tell a story.

Our recent project with the Dekalb Board of Health increased awareness of the organization's Health PrEP Clinic.

In an effort to engage more viewers on this important topic, we decided to take a different approach and create something fun, fresh and inviting.

We started with sketches and later moved on to the final, illustrated frames. Once the frames were approved, we locked down the facial expressions for the characters and jumped straight into animation. Instead of the typical 2-D animation, we decided to opt for digital cut-out animation. This allowed us to achieve that cohesive look and feel, tying everything together.

Easy access to STD and HIV prevention resources means no one should have to live in fear. Thanks to the Dekalb County Board of Health PrEP Clinic, this dream is now a reality.

Our team had the opportunity to work alongside our friends at Mnemonic Agency to create this :30 second, 2-D animation for the PrEP Clinic. The idea was to create a vibrant yet approachable animation style, as an introduction to the clinic's overall initiative and services. We wanted to emphasize the clinic's dedication to inclusivity by making the characters anthropomorphic. This prevented viewers from becoming alienated by the appearance of the characters and instead focused on the message at-hand.

WITNESS was responsible for the visual write-up, sketches, styleframes, storyboards, 2-D animation and compositing.

When the American Cancer Society approached WITNESS with the Health Equity project, we started by brainstorming creative ideas to communicate this poignant message, ultimately landing on an illustrative yet life-like animation style with visual metaphors sprinkled throughout.

And with a lot of passion and a little patience, we were able to bring this vision to life!

Our team was responsible for the visual write-up, storyboard, 2-D and 3-D animation, sound design, compositing and rendering.

It’s official – 2020 has come to an end.

We’ve all endured quite a lot this past year. So how can we learn better and healthier ways to support one another as we enter 2021?

In this episode of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Behavioral Health series, we are presented with a conflict between mother and son, which is ultimately resolved by setting limits.

Whether you’re a working parent tasked with managing your child’s virtual learning or a young couple struggling to set boundaries in a shared home office, we can all recognize the importance of setting limits and seeking balance – no matter what year we find ourselves in.

With each passing day, businesses across industries are tasked with navigating the ever-changing landscape of today’s world.

WITNESS has been lucky enough to continue work from home, which despite its challenges, has been an immense privilege.

One of the ways we’ve managed to stay connected in these uncertain times is by hosting daily, company-wide calls to check in with one another and share our thoughts – work-related or otherwise – on the crisis at-hand.

It’s a simple gesture of goodwill. A gentle reminder to recognize the value in what binds us. That is, our humanity. Our ability to relate and present authentically.

After all, we are all in this. Why not be in it together? ☺️

In our latest video project for 's Healthcare of Atlanta, we kept the illustrations clean and simple. Smooth transitions were strategically scattered throughout the animation to establish a sense of continuity, from scene to scene. While working primarily in After Effects, we incorporated some 3-D elements using Cinema 4D, which were stylized to have a flat, illustrated appearance.
