We got a sneak peek at Nine Dot ‘s one-day-only pop-up presented by our friends at GVG Events Atlanta, Georgia , a tucked-away festival activation with sand, beach chairs, a DJ and giveaways. Nine Dot will be serving its signature tropical flavors alongside exclusive Peach Punch slushies created just for Saturday.

Entry is free. Find it Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at 1245 Glenwood Avenue SE.

We met Don Purcell through JEFFREY KALINSKY and our work with Jeffrey Fashion Cares, and anyone who spent time in that world knew Don was never simply the general manager of Jeffrey. He was part curator, part connector and entirely his own institution.

We loved him then, we love him now and, frankly, it was only a matter of time before he put his own name above the door. Watching Don turn his extraordinary eye, decades of relationships and deeply personal approach to collecting into Don Purcell has been incredibly special. Five years later, the store feels exactly like him: original, colorful, irreverent and impossible to duplicate.

And then there is Pansy Patrol, Don’s peaceful protest in support of the LGBTQ+ community and further proof that his heart is every bit as big as his personality.

This work has introduced us to some remarkable people. Don is one of the people who became part of our lives. We are grateful for him, inspired by him and very happy to celebrate everything he has created.

Congratulations on five fabulous years, Don. We love you. ✨

A power lunch, actually.

Meals On Wheels Atlanta brought the city’s creative, business, civic and philanthropic circles together at 1705WEST for the 9th Annual Power Luncheon, reimagined around the theme “Curating a Life of Style & Impact.”

Moderated by Cara Kneer, the conversation with Eva Marcille, Emily Loftiss- Creative Director & Stylist, John Plaster and Helen Zhang PA-C | Atlanta Injector moved through creativity, confidence, authenticity and what it means to build a life that leaves something meaningful behind.

And then there are the numbers that matter most.

Meals On Wheels Atlanta serves more than 1,800 meals every day and 525,000 annually. For 70 percent of the seniors it serves, those meals are their only source of food. With 97 percent of the home-delivered meal program funded by private donations, every seat in the room helped carry that work forward.

Meals are only part of it. MOWA also provides wellness checks, social connection, pantry support, pet food and home repairs, helping Atlanta seniors remain independent and connected.

Style brought everyone to the table. Impact was the point.

Date night has a new standing reservation at Brasserie Margot at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta with Poulet & Bubbles. 🥂

For Chef Christophe Truchet, this new offering is a true taste of home. Growing up on his family’s farm in France, Sundays meant a roast chicken, everyone gathered around the table and a meal that brought the family together to start the week.

Now, he’s bringing that tradition to Atlanta every Tuesday night with a dinner for two centered around a whole roasted chicken, classic French accompaniments and Champagne.
