Are Straight Men Dressing And Inadvertently attracting gay men?
FIRST LET ME SAY THIS IS NOT A MORAL CONVERSATION OR CRITIQUE ON SEXUAL PREFERENCE.
A lot of fellas are stepping out showing more skin than some ladies with off the shoulder shirts, or flown mesh shirts pairs with skin tight jeans they -have to jump up and down to get into or skirts and then getting mad when they get approached by gay men.

Forgetting that men are attracted to what they see while women are attracted to what they experience. Many men are so worried about dressing to get attention that they forget to dress with intention.
Our style is always saying something about us, but are we clear on what it’s saying and what it’s attracting? And if we aren’t clear about it can we really get mad if it’s misinterpreted?

Try This On
Effortless style requires effort but a it of guys when they are starting their style journey they believe they it should look like they threw their look together the difference is often that in the beginning you are questioning yourself, second guessing yourself and need those edifications, and affirmations as you develop your style.

This is why the art of nonchalance is an acquisition because it’s in knowing yourself, that you create a uniform that you can repeat so consistently that it becomes effortless for you, putting a look together that shows how simple a signature style can be. Try this on see how it fits you.

A lesson in life and style. When I first began dressing I thought it was necessary to be bold eccentric, and dare I saw loud. For a long time I felt like many black men have often felt. Stifled, restricted, muted with an unyielding desire to yell from the roof tops SEE ME. Love me or hate me just see me. I often masked it under the guise of “style” not understand that true doesn’t yell, it enunciates. While I would still rock the seersucker jacket and bow tie I would opt for softer shirt and dark orange or rust trouser, I probably would have still had fun with the hat and my slippers but while this look works it’s too literal, too in your face, but the contrast creates conflicts not cohesion, and distraction not distinction. I’ve learned that while I will forever be a colorful dude, I am more interested in romancing an ensemble than creating a lustful look as I continue to try on what fits me.

Twists wound tightly, tantamount to the ups and downs on sliding and rising scales in sweltering heat bound and b***d with textures that point to abrasion, but on occasion “tweed” recedes into the recesses of “cool” relieving sweltering temperatures, with textures and lighter tints, and colored checkered past to contrast a captured color as fire as finding what suits you.

For the longest time I was under the misconception that tweed was strictly reserved for cooler months, however I was reminded that tweed is a weave when thumbing through the fabric store and coming across a linen tweed -as it was marked in the store. After doing further research I was surprised to find that tweed could be created with this familiar filament despite it’s limited use in the warmer months. The herringbone fabric was created with a soft construction and patch pockets, it was paired with a sheppard style check shirt.

I received some comments about pattern mixing with the belief that patterns that are too close to each, but I’ve reminded them that you want to pay attention to scale and intensity of a tie. In this instance the intensity of the tie mutes the multicolored shirting drawing out the red and yellow of “foulard”tie providing a point of reference to focus on. But this a “live” man tactic not for freshmen.

PS I say “foulard” from its technical definition however I would define one as a tie with texture and a small repeating pattern. But that’s my opinion.
