SIT (Seminario Internacional de Tecnología), held May 19–21, is Telecom Argentina's annual engineering conference, now in its 15th year. The event attracts more than 3,500 Telecom Argentina technical staff, along with many virtual attendees. Regional cable operators from across Latin America and the SCTE CALA Chapter are also represented.

CableLabs had two keynote speakers. Jon Schnoor presented the latest CableLabs work in FTTP specifications and testing, and Neeharika Jesukumar highlighted CableLabs work in Wi-Fi standards and cable working groups aimed at improving in-home Wi-Fi experience.
Telecom Argentina is the largest cable and mobile operator in Argentina and has collaborated with CableLabs for many years.

No words can fully describe how perfect Friday night was or what it felt like to be in that room. Honestly, we’re still having a hard time believing it was even real…but it was very, very real.
