After building many, many marketing launches that have resulted in tens of millions sold, here’s what no one talks about, but I see that impacts success…
✨ Getting to the result of the result that people truly desire sells incredibly well.
What they REALLY want usually not the first thing they say the want. Most often, what moves them to buy is the underlying desire.
This is often tied to the client increasing status in their eyes.
✨ Consistency matters more than just nurturing algorithms
People distrust online businesses. I see conversion rates drop with long URL’s. The little things matter.
Your consistency tells your audience that you’re really ‘in this’ and you want to stick around.
This goes against the story that online businesses come and go and rip people off, and it builds trust.
✨ Dialing in on brand personality and visual brand will make you more money
People discount this, but it’s true. When a brand has their visuals on brand consistently, they feel more put together, like a ‘real business’.
And when the face of the business stops emulating competitors and starts magnifying their own brand personality, they almost immediately see a shift.
This is developing a combination of 2 strong brand archetypes, based on Carl Jung’s personality research (I studied and worked in psychology and human behavior, and it shows😌)
✨ The energy you show up with in all recordings and sales interactions will define your sales. People pick up on nuances but don’t have the words for it.
Dial in on getting comfortable sharing your voice in whatever way makes sense for our brand.
I’ve started doing voice over images with rolling text and it’s a great fit for my Sage, nerdy mind.
If you aren’t closing sales, look at a recording of you the moment you shift into the pitch. Half the time at least, there’s an energy and presence shift.
✨ Positioning yourself as an expert while making what you can do for others feel realistic and aspirational
This is big, but it looks like noting all the things that position you well. Results, case studies from clients, your experience, education, big name clients you’ve worked with (if you can name and don’t have nda’s like I do on some!)
Then sprinkling that in inside of your marketing.
The transformational story will include your expertise, proving you’re the best choice in being the support they need to achieve becoming the success your offer can transform them into.
If your greatest success stories feel too good to be true, add in some smaller wins. Step them into seeing this as a success even if they don’t get to that peak level.
✨ Do your research
In my agency, we run competitive research to scope out the marketplace, see what’s working, offer structures, social media platforms, post types, cadence…
… and we pull together the niche inside of the marketplace that our client can fill, so it feels like more of a blue ocean (less competition).
We look at messaging and details on what’s converting to put together marketing launches that truly work… and they very often work for years.
Copying successful funnels will only get you so far.
This work reaps rewards, and I have yet to come across anyone else doing what we’re doing here.
