All of my tattoos are done using a 3RL and Black Ink. I am a nib and ink illustration artist by trade and my passion is creating original and unique compositions whether I am drawing, etching, engraving, or tattooing. Every tattoo is researched, custom designed, and hand drawn by myself specifically for each individual client. My style/technique is called hatching, I use several variations/types of hatching to create form, tonal values, motion, and texture.

Skyler gave me full creative freedom with this tattoo, but he had a lot of tattoos on his back already so I did ask him for a little direction. He had mentioned monkshood flowers and I latched onto that making my own personification of the wolfsbane flowers (which I thought was a little ironic because of the wolf head tattoo he already had). For the layout on the back I ran with the asemmetry that he already had going on. So this is an extremely poisonous flower that’s been used throughout stories and literature as a poison. My personification/character that grew from the wolfsbane is a death-witch demon type creature that comes out from the roots of the plant or vice versa the plant is coming out of the witch creature. The markings on the skull are parallel hatching which I thought broke up the tattoo a little and added a mystical detail coming out of the witches eye. I like mixing marking styles like different kinds of hatching and stippling. This tattoo can be finished/standalone as it is, or I can easily add to it in the future.

Youuuu guuyyyyyysssssss, (FREE stuff, keep reading) with fall right around the corner it’s time for us to start thinking about our annual hoodie drop! We still have quantities available in every size of the “Serpent Delusions” hoodie and we need to get them all outta here and make room for this year’s hoodie drop; Which btw, is finally going to be a ZIPPER HOODIE!
