Not the notification you want to see when you're a creative. 200 days since my last post on here. 200 days ago I had put my creative passion on the back burner as life happened. With 3 kids, a full time job on top of my design career, countless hours at sports, a house to maintain, and a family to spend time with it's been hard to squeeze in time for my passion.

It has been weighing heavily on me that God had provided me such a great - and unique passion and eye for design that I am not utilizing these skills more, that I am not doing more with these talents.

Fun fact about me that a lot of you probably did not know is that we are a homeschool family so when I was approached with the opportunity to make a logo for a fellow homeschool family I was thrilled.

I had worked with Ellen awhile back for a logo for a business she was opening called Hearthstone Homecare - so being able to work with her again and bring this vision to life was incredible!

The Den has a few key elements I wanted to include including the fox sitting inside of the negative space of the D to resemble The Den while also adding the fox's tail to the N's negative space to allow for a fun and creative brand pattern.

Ellen I truly hope you love this logo and I am so excited for you to take this homeschool journey with your family.

Back in 2022 I had the joy of working with Phillip from Phillips Fire & Design and creating a beautiful lasting logo for his company. A few weeks back he had reached out to let me know that his company has expanded and the logo I designed for him is being used across uniforms, company vehicles, and more! There is nothing better than hearing and seeing your work was loved and still being used.

Phillip had asked for a logo refresh to bring the flag into the shield of his logo and I provided. As an avid patriot it was my pleasure to build this logo again and add a patriotic element to it.

What a fun logo and brand to build! There was very few requirements when building this design - they wanted a very simple & recognizable logo that incorporated a chili pepper into the logo itself. I also added the mountain peak for Sierra Madre Oriental to symbolize the roots of the business.
