10 years. ❤️
Today marks 10 years since I opened Vinyl Destination. It's hard to believe I've been doing this for an entire decade!
When I started, I had no idea where it would take me. I just knew I wanted to build something of my own, and I wanted to build it on quality. One of the coolest things 10 years later is still seeing people wearing shirts I made in those very first years. That's something I'm incredibly proud of.
It hasn't always been easy, and I certainly haven't always gotten everything right. I've made mistakes, learned things the hard way, worked countless late nights, dealt with impossible deadlines and had equipment fail at the absolute worst possible time.
I'm actually going through one of those stretches right now. Equipment problems have put me further behind than I ever want to be, and to those patiently waiting on me — thank you. I appreciate your patience more than you know.
The struggles of owning a small business are real, but so are the rewards.
Over the years, Vinyl Destination has grown and changed, and embroidery has become the heart of what I do. I still love taking someone's logo or idea, turning it into thousands of stitches and watching it come to life.
But the best part of these 10 years has been the people. I've met some amazing people along the way. Some customers have become friends, and so many of you have trusted me with order after order, year after year.
Every order, referral, tag, share, and every "I know someone who can do that" has helped get Vinyl Destination here.
Small businesses don't make it 10 years without people choosing to support them.
You chose to support mine. ❤️
So there's no anniversary sale or promotion today. I simply want to say thank you for trusting me, supporting me, recommending me, coming back and allowing me to do what I love for the last 10 years.
Happy 10th anniversary, Vinyl Destination. ❤️
What a ride it's been — and we're not done yet. 🥂
