THE CHIMNEY & HEARTH INDUSTRY NEEDS TO AGGRESSIVELY FIGHT SPAMMER SCAMMER LOCATIONS!

THIS IS AN ONLINE EPIDEMIC!

Recently several of our clients have been negatively affected in the Local Rankings by a slew of New Locations from one particular entity which I will call "CC". This is a company that comes in and builds out 5 to 10 locations in a metro and has a way to generate reviews as well it seems. We have heard of terrible on the ground experiences with whatever these companies are. BTW "CC" currently has over 50 locations in the US and many seem to be worth questioning if they don't meet Google Standards.

FROM CUSTOMERS PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

They show up in an unmarked van - that is a rental, no ladders, but at least they had vacuums - no branding on shirts, hats, nothing.

When asked about certifications they said "yeah, any certification you need, the office can send over"

They said the HQ was in Boston - but they have locations all over and started naming cities.

They did not do a real inspection (of course) but offered to replace "connector pipes"...

Even when told that other companies said a chimney rebuild on the utility chimney was needed and a liner was needed.
They said "all was fine".

They said they do not do any of the repair work - but could vacuum dust off the boiler and replace the pipe today for $$$.

PLEASE REPORT THESE LISTINGS WHICH ARE AGAINST GOOGLE STANDARDS.
WE CAN ELIMINATE THIS THREAT.

Don't use your business Google Account when you are reporting, use a private one if possible. This reporting is anonymouns and the company will not know who has reported the listing. If we get enough reports we can TAKE THEM DOWN!

1. Search Business Listing on Google Maps

2. Click on Suspect Listing to Show Left Sidebar for Business Info

3. Suggest An Edit - Blue Button at Bottom with Pencil

4. Choose Appropriate Report > Place Is Closed or Doesn't Exist Here

GO WOKE, GO BROKE: Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss Masino's decision to 'decolonize' the company starting by removing the old-fashioned country gentleman meant to evoke nostalgia and Americana from the logo is hammering the stock wiping out $250 million in value. Since Felss became CEO the stock is down 34% erasing $587 million in value.
