We spent this past weekend on the road in Tennessee, cheering at the top of our lungs for Heath’s niece, Autumn, as she graduated High School! Congratulations, Autumn! It was such a joy to be there to witness your big moment. 🎓🎈

Between the travel and the graduation cheers, I wanted to take a moment to send a "belated" but very heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in my life and community.

Better Together: Strengthening our communities through connection. ❤️🤝

I had the most incredible weekend traveling between Warren and Burke counties, and my heart is so full!

First, I want to shout out Warren County Schools & Family Connection of Warren County, Inc. They are doing the vital work of educating our community on ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and trauma-informed practices. Understanding trauma is the first step toward building a resilient, healthy community for our children.

The spirit of support continued at a beautiful Women’s Brunch at McElmurray Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro. We celebrated healing, empowerment, and the power of connection. It was such a joy to meet the leadership from Family Connection of Burke County there! 🥂✨

I am constantly blown away by how these Family Connection organizations support one another across county lines. When we collaborate and lift each other up, our entire region wins.
