I call it the "That's the way we've always done it" paradigm and it's extremely prevalent in recruiting.
The number of agencies that are using old tactics that used to work is disappointing to see. It usually looks something like this:
๐ Post the opening on the governnmentjobs site
๐ Make an announcement in the newspaper
๐ Post on social media with a link directly to the governmentjobs posting
๐ Attend a job fair or two
๐ค Hope the applications flood in...
