In 2004, the "buzz" was all about Mel Gibson's movie "The Passion of the Christ." There was a lot of speculation and even concern about the film's violent depiction of the crucifixion. Many were trying to decide whether or not they would even go see it. I was one of those people. My response was to try to come up with a design for a paper snowflake. After 4 or 5 tries at making a design and cutting it out, the result was what you see in the photo here. I call it my "Good Friday" snowflake. It is a reminder of the incredible, sacrificial love of Jesus.
