BAND ANNOUNCEMENT: ZED

Since 2007, ZED has been a blunt force coming from the Bay Area—no gimmicks, just volume, groove, and riffs that hit like fists. Built on blues-soaked heaviness and raw grit, the band plays rock like it’s a contact sport—loud, physical, and unapologetic.

At the core are guitarist/vocalist Peter Sattari and bassist Mark Aceves, joined by lead guitarist Greg Lopez, whose searing leads cut through the weight. The band’s foundation was forged with drummer Sean Boyles, whose tragic passing nearly brought everything to a stop—but not before he made it clear: keep going.

Answering that call, ZED found new fire in drummer David Hechim, pushing forward with the same soul and even sharper edges. Signed to Ripple Music, ZED continues to hit harder, dig deeper, and carry the weight of everything they’ve lived through.

No reinvention. No softening. Just heavier swings, sharper edges, and unfinished business.

AUSTIN NOISE FEST 2026

The Far Out Lounge in collaboration with Lick of My Spoon Productions is happy to announce the 1st Annual Austin Noise Fest! Join us for two days of glorious noise at The Far Out Lounge in Austin, Texas! The lineup for Austin Noise Fest will feature dreamy shoegaze and heavy alternative rock from Narrow Head, industrial metal agression from Prong, infamous shock-punk theatrics from The Dwarves, and a combination skate-punk and dub from Mexico City duo Cardiel.

The two-day festival will also feature a cross-section of heavy metal, punk, and psychedelic rock from local and regional bands BÖNDBREAKR, Suplecs, Throat P**s, The Grasshopper Lies Heavy, Lord Buffalo, and more. It’s all taking place on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13.
