As we contemplate what we are grateful for this Thanksgiving holiday we all have many different reasons. At QBP, we would to share some of those with you.

We spent the last 24 months looking into new opportunities in the alcohol industry. We decided to focus on wineries in Europe as many are dissatisfied with their US sales and margins.

This Thanksgiving, QBP is grateful for all the tremendous support we received from the attorneys and staff at both federal and state agencies to better understand their regulations. At times, we were surprised by what we learned.

We are grateful for the many ways we can help European wineries improve the supply chain, reduce cost, and improve margins. We look forward to sharing our knowledge and industry experience with wineries and regions looking to increase their sales and exposure in the United States.

QBP has developed partnerships with experts inside and outside the industry to develop successful strategies in the US market. Early next year, we will start a series of webinars that will cover a variety of subjects and eliminate the misconceptions about federal and state regulations that many wineries outside the US seem to have.

The world around us changes every day. Now more so than ever. We are excited about the new opportunities and we want to be a driver for positive change. We invite European wineries, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers to join us on this journey.

You may have heard about the massive flooding in parts of Western Germany. Many towns and villages were badly impacted and many homes and infrastructure were destroyed. Some areas look like war zones. It has also impacted wineries. Let's hope everyone affected will get back on their feet as soon as possible and recover!

Sadly, Captain Sir Tom Moore has passed of COVID related health problems at age 100. We featured Captain Tom in a recent blog post about the power of social media to help get brand messages across to millions of new followers and friends. Captain Tom created his own unique brand of a positive attitude and inspiration. He proved to all of us that you are never too old to change the world and draw attention to a good cause.

Captain Sir Tom raised more than £32m for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.

Farewell 2020, hello 2021! 2020 was an unexpected and challenging year for all of us. Some benefitted from the many changes COVID brought about; many others have lost and continue to lose on so many levels. It requires all of us to adjust to a new world as best we can. Many changes brought about will fundamentally alter how we live, work, and shop. Many new opportunities have and will be created and hopefully some change our lives for the better!
