Gratitude is a self-perpetuating mindset. The more you practice it, the more you find to be grateful for.

Appreciating the little things is just as important as honoring the big things, the good things, and even the bad things.

Take some time today to give thanks for the small stuff.

The row of colorful mums outside the store. Clothes fresh from the dryer. A good candle. The smell of coffee brewing. That perfect equilibrium when you’re dressed just right for crisp fall weather; you’re not too hot, not too cold. Fresh socks. November sunsets. Front row parking.

One little thing we’re thankful for? Elastic waistbands. :)

When you fill your day with mini moments of gratitude, you don’t just feel rich, you ARE rich.

Today we’re wearing the smiles that you all have given us and continue to give us.

Thank you for being you. We appreciate it.

Owners Lynn Tomasek, her sister Michele Carwin, and brother Justin Kansteiner were at a turning point when given the opportunity to take over the company Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric from their dad and uncle, Marvin and Richard Kansteiner.

The company was already famous as the name “Brothers”, so part of The Brand Guys’ advice was to keep the name but rebrand Lynn and Michelle as “The Sisters from Brothers.” (Their brother Justin was happy to remain a silent partner.)

Glad to report that when Denver residents hear the phrase, “Hi, it’s Lynn & Michelle…”, they are most likely to repeat what follows: “The Sisters from Brothers” as the siblings have become famous on Denver radio and TV.
