True Leadership isnโ€™t telling your team what to do, itโ€™s teaching them to Think.

Iโ€™ve had hundreds of people work at my companies over the past 8 years & one universal truth Iโ€™ve learned is the importance of teaching your team to think & make decisions for themselves.

A common misconception is that to lead someone, you need to tell them what to do โ€” but thatโ€™s not true leadership.

Thatโ€™s just management - and itโ€™s a linear process.

- You tell someone one thing, they do it.

- You tell them another thing, they do that.

- They ask you what to do when they face a challenge.

- If they have an idea, they hold it back or reluctantly ask you if they should do it.

This is a linear approach & it doesnโ€™t actually empower your team. It actually creates bottlenecks that limit growth.

What should you do instead?

Teach your team how to THINK

Instead of telling your team what to do, teach your team how you think & encourage them to think for themselves.

- Teach your team how to think for themselves to solve problems & innovate new ideas.

The trunk of your tree is your initial successful campaign. This is the foundation of your ability to scale. It's the campaign that's already proven to work, delivering a positive ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).

For example, let's say you're running a YouTube Ad for your coaching business, and you've found a winning combination of targeting, ad creative, and landing page. If that campaign is producing leads, calls & sales at a good rate โ€” then this is likely a campaign you want to scale! This is your trunk.

Once you have your base campaign (trunk), it's time to grow branches. These are variations of your successful campaign.

You will create New Campaigns (not the same campaign) that are slight variations on your winning campaigns โ€” we call these tree branches!

- Create slight variations of your successful ads (different hooks etc.)

- Expand your targeting to similar audiences

- Test branching into new targeting options, audiences or even demographics
