Fox7 Austin's Tierra Neubam visited Padel39 last Wednesday to showcase the padel club's NEW offerings. Tierra learned the basics of padel, sampled some of Club39's drinks and toured the facility with the club's founder & CEO, Will Boyce.

The resulting segment was 13 minutes of live TV coverage! Not your average day at the office. It was such a pleasure to work with Tierra and her cameraman, G.

Another Pro Bono PR placement: Thank you to Libbi Farrow and the Fox7 Austin team for helping us spread the word about Women Communicators of Austin (WCA), the local organization that supports communicators with education and networking opportunities.

Banner Brunch 2026 is bringing together Central Texas communicators for a morning of connection, celebration, and inspiration in downtown Austin.

This week was an exciting one! LHPR coordinated two TV segments (pro bono work for Women Communicators of Austin and for my client, MoGlow) and one pre-podcast walk-through of Padel39.

Each media interview is preceded by hours of work:
-research to find the right outlets to pitch (those who will truly be interested)
-writing and refining each pitch
-gathering visuals and sometimes, props
-media training the spokespeople
-writing suggested talking points
-coordinating schedules and ensuring everyone shows up on time
-and more
..so when the cameras start to roll, I listen closely, take "behind the scenes" photos/videos for social media AND breathe a sigh of relief!

Surviving breast cancer brought identical twin sisters Denise and Debra LaChance closer than ever before. What the 72-year-old siblings couldn't anticipate was that another health challenge was just around the corner.
