Go Team Texas Team Texas is a non-profit statewide membership economic development marketing association. The marketing initiative eventually became known as Team Texas.

Team Texas, originally known as the Texas Marketing Team, was established in 1984 by a group of visionary economic developers from around the state as a way to collectively market the state and their cities. In 1989, the Texas Marketing Team became an official entity under the umbrella of the Texas Economic Development Council. in 2014, the members of Team Texas voted to expand their marketing eff
