I wanna be Dove when I grow up. She's the funniest kid, has so much personality, is a born performer, and is cooler than I'll ever be. And today she is 🎂 8 YEARS OLD! 🎈

When you realize you can use proportions to solve percentages 🤯 It's these ah-ha math moments that I geek over the most. ♥️
It's literally my favorite when I hear her gasp and say, "Noooo way!" from the kitchen table.

I've always wanted to teach math. I knew in highschool that I loved it, and I never understood why that particular path didn't work out for me after college. I was interviewing with private schools my senior year and had several offers, but none of them worked out for one reason or another and then things just changed. Now I know 20 years later that God had a better plan than I could have ever imagined for my love of teaching.
